  • Are Vismat Files No Longer Supported?

New to Vray. Trying to download and use .Vismat files but it appears Vray (Sketchup) no longer supports them as a native import file. I'm 30 days into Vray, so apologize if this has been covered 100x.

If so, are all of those Vismat files useless to me in the current version of Vray?

    Hi wil_schroter

That's right, .vismat files are considered deprecated and are no longer supported. The current format the V-Ray Asset Editor uses to read assets' data (XML) is .vrmat. We recommend using newly created materials or our over 500 material presets from the library.
