  • How do I delete the Spline Curve added on top of the fall-off map?

    Hi,

I've been trying figure out how to delete color corrections or spline curves added on top of bitmap texture slots.

But every time, I delete the spline curve or color correction, it deletes the bitmap within that texture slot as well.

Is there anyway to remove the spline curve or color correction without removing the whole texture slot bitmap?

Hope you got my question. I've added a image for reference.

    Thanks

      Hi all,

manishpaul_simon , what I can gather from your screenshot is that the bitmap is wrapped in other textures (i.e., Color Correction, Spline Curve, Falloff, etc.) - and you can see that it is situated on the bottom of the "tree", so when deleting one of the above layers, everything below will be gone as well: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/sc...5_14-42-21.mp4

One way to workaround this is to drag and drop your bitmap into the desired slot up the tree directly - you will lose the unwanted texture (for example, Spline Curve), but will have the Color Corrections on top of your bitmap texture. Please see video demonstration for better visual understanding: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/sc...6_13-05-29.mp4

Hope this will be of help!

Thanks a lot for your response! It would be great if you guys could make a slate editor feature for sketchup.

          Hi guys,

Another way of removing an in-between map is by copying it and then pasting it (as a copy) in place of its parent.

          1. Copy the bitmap:

Size:	332.3 KB

          2. Paste it as a copy in the slot where the spline curve has been plugged:

Size:	300.8 KB

          3. The result:

Name:	removeInBetweenMap_03.jpg

Size:	289.9 KB
ID:	1104182

          Hope that helps,
          Konstantin
