I'm curious if there's any update on the possibility/timing for an M1-native version of V-Ray for Sketchup?

Currently V-Ray works well under Rosetta "emulation" on M1 Mac, but it's noticeably slower compared to V-Ray running natively on my previous Intel Mac. (e.g. maybe 30-50% slower compared to 8-Core i9 depending on the scene.)

We are actively working on the ARM port of V-Ray.
I still can't give you an exact estimation on when it's coming out.

A lot of assembly code to re-write?

Did the new 2.2 update include native support? I didn’t see any mention of the m1 mace in the release notes

          Hello, jrozansky ,

Update 2.2 (v5.20.03) does not yet include native arm support.
The dev team is still working on it. Rest assured, this is currently their top priority task.
We'll make an announcement the moment it is ready!

          Kind regards,
          Peter
