  • Bucket render much more brighter than Interactive render

    Hi there,

I'm facing issues with this scene, wherein the bucket render of the same scene comes out 10x brighter than the interactive render.

I tried fixing it by checking the faces of the group & applying material on both sides. I also figured that it was the rectangular light (spotlight) which was causing the maximum exposure in the scene. But I was unable to match the same lighting setup in the interactive mode with the bucket mode.

It defeats the purpose of using interactive render if I'm unable to replicate the same lighting setup in the bucket mode.

Hope you can help me out on this and let me know where I'm going wrong.

    Thanks,
    Manish

    Hey Manish,

Thank you for providing the project files!

Interactive uses Brute Force/Brute Force while your production settings are on BF/LC. This seems to be causing the difference. Other than that, using BF/LC - it looks like the brightness comes from the Spot Light's 'No Decay' option being enabled, everything seems okay while it's turned off.
