  • Blend Material Sizes?

    Is there a way to change the sizes of the different materials in a 'blend material'? For example, by base material has a very small repeating texture, but my coat layers have very large texture sizes. Is there an easy way to adjust the scales in the blend properties?

    Hi Wesley,
    I faced the same problem when adding dry leaves on a road texture.

    So I manually changed the size of the texture in photoshop and saved out the various dry leaf bitmaps. Just make sure that the opacity map is saved out correctly as well,
    I'm adding those maps here for your reference.

    Can we add a displacement map to blend material? My grass came out as too flat and unrealistic in the final render. Any tips?

    Also, can the same effect be achieved with the new decal feature? But how do I add displacement to the decal feature?

      Hi wesley_tran,

      The best way to control the size of sub-materials is with the Placement parameters of their textures.
      Note that a single placement map can be instantiated in all texture slots.
      After that changing the texture repeat in one place will alter the size of the whole material.
