  • New user material help please

    Hello dear all!
I'm self taught SU+Vray user. I love all the changes with the newest Vray version. I'm not a proffesional visualizer, but these tools are great to use as an interior designer.
I'm trying to create a material which is like crushed velvet, however I cannot achieve a desired effect. Can anyone help, or point me to some tutorial? I've been googling and trying a lot for the last couple days but with no luck so far.

    Hi,

I made some tests to achieve the result you are looking for. I made it by blending two materials, I think this way you can control the result with more detail.

Here you can download the material:

Sorry about silly question - how do I blend them?
It's not exactly what I need, but I'd like to play around with it to try and make it closer to crushed velvet.
Thank you so much for your help!

You could try using the new decal feature of Vray and add additional imperfections to the material to make it more realistic.
