Sketchup 2020 - Vray 5.2 Skatter problem

Hi, i've a problem with the skatter command. I create a planar surface. Make it a group. Apply skatter. Load a tree from cosmos. From the asset editor add guests tree to the skatter...and it doesn't work. Crying... Go to the model, extrude the planar surface some inch...repeat the seme sequences and it works! So, if i've got a planar surface it doesn't work, if i've got a box it works...can you help me? Thanks... Bye

Hi marchesin_filippo1,

It is possible that the planar surface you've created was facing downwards.
This would by default prevent instances to be added on it.
There is a Scatter option called Axis Filter.
Try setting it to All Faces and see if that helps.
You ca also reverse the plane direction.
