  • Kelvin Colors

I was just inputting some kelvin values for a light fixture and I was curious about the accuracy of these numbers. When I input 3500 I get a very yellow color. My understanding is that 3500 kelvin is a warm white color, much less yellow than VRay is showing. Am I missing something?

    Hello, Matthew,
The Kelvin to sRGB value conversion in the V-Ray color picker is precise. Its accuracy varies very slightly with low Kelvin values (~1000-1800).

    Kind regards,

Why does 3500 look so yellow then?
