Opening a Sketchup model in Cinema 4d

Hi guys,

When I open my sketchup model in cinema 4d the V-Ray lights I created in Sketchup don't work. Is there a way to get them functional or is it impossible?

Hi maarten_vis,

How are you transferring your project from SketchUp to Cinema?
If you are using .skp files, then it makes sense that the V-Ray data is lost. This Cinema importer is loading just the native SketchUp data while all special plugin data is ignored.
If however you export a vrscene from SU and load it as a V-Ray Scene reference object then it should be rendered just fine.
If there is an issue with this second approach please let us know and we'll look into it.
