Carpet/Rug Tutorial Suggestions

Hey

Does anyone have a good tutorial for creating realistic carpet/rugs? I'm having trouble finding an in depth tutorial on this. I've tried V-Ray Fur, but whatever I'm doing doesn't look very realistic.

I appreciate any help I can get.

Hi calvin_ode,

The most important tool for creating carpets in V-Ray is called V-Ray Fur.
It is a modifier that you apply to an object and then fur strands are generated on the object's surface render time.
