Laptop Sleeping issue

Hi, last night i left the sketchup file open and close the screen of my laptop, this morning i opened the screen and that error message was there.. Is it normal for vray to try connect to the server while computer is in sleep mode?

After consulting with our Tech Support team could share that this is expected.
The new License server is running as a process (this could be seen in Task Manager).
If there isn't a logged user (as it is when the PC is in sleep mode), license could not be engaged.

Better scenario will be to save the file and open it after awakening the PC.
We will still discuss could something be changed on that matter, since especially this error is related to Asset Preview.
And if the answer is YES, you will be informed.
Work over similar error has been done. Good to know is was the preview able to recover after some time or you had to re-open the project.
