vray converter physical materials to vray material from sketchup

hello. i'm noticing that whenever i run the conversion script it works great to convert physical materials to vray materials, but the vray material always has a reflection color of WHITE. this is on importing SKP files.

is that an issue in sketchup where the material has to be set to non-reflective before trying to open and convert in 3ds max / vray?
