  • Globalize what does it mean in materials for vray for sketchup

    Hi

As the question is very clear, What does it mean globalize in materials

    Thanks

    Only textures can be globalised.

    And here's what it means:
Most textures are listed only under the material using them (as children).
However, when a texture is instantiated and connected to multiple materials, it becomes a global texture.
This shows it not only under the parent material but also in the global textures list.

The bottom line is you can force-globalise a texture manually in case this is needed.
