  • BRDFDiffuse messing up my textures

    Hi
I am using Laubwerk, and when I import a plant, it renders black in Vray.
I have tried a lot of things, I feel, and this is what works.

If I delete the material BRDFDiffuse the colors work, but there are lot of materials. Is there a way to disable the BDRFDiffuse in multiple materials?

Thanks and I really hope there is a solution.

    Hello mikkel_barker ,

The black result is caused by the reason that in V-Ray 7, there is a Diffuse layer on the top of BRDFVRayMtl, the opacity of this layer is missing in V-Ray 7

We are in contact with Laubwerk, and at this moment, they are working on adding support for V-Ray 7. I am sharing with you their response regarding the issue:
There appears to be an incompatibility with V-Ray 7 (which we do not yet officially support). We are working on making Laubwerk Plants compatible with V-Ray 7, but it will probably take a few weeks. For the time being, please consider downgrading to V-Ray 6 if you have any urgent projects to finish. We will make a public announcement when compatibility with V-Ray 7 is ensured.
