Caustics for metal material

Vray7: pls help, no idea how to create water caustics for stainless steel pool...(it is working for other materials, but as for the metal, it shows nothing...) thnx

please see enclosed file - as you can see caustics is working with "normal" generic material (just a color and some reflection)

unfortunately the file was too big for upload with the metal material - but it is from Chaos Cosmos library "Metal Brushed Linear 40cm" - if you use this material, the water caustic disappears...

What am I doing wrong?
