        Tutorials are coming...suggestions are welcome.

step by step process from opening an already completed sketchup model of a house with doors, window, roof, siding and some brick, also a few people, a car on the driveway, and some sketchup trees and landscaping. Just a simple house that has many of the same materials and modeling issues that would be present in a more complicated model.

Well The same would go for an interior scene as well.

Anyway sometihing to follow along with that completes a typical scene. using vray.

I wish you guys use Camtasia product for VfSU tutorial like how Sketchup team did. I often lost when I just follow written version. Also it's interesting to hear the developer's voice! TIA!

This tutorial is a V-Ray for Rhino tutorial that explains how to use decals with our setup. It could probably help you out while the tutorials specific to VfS are still under development.

Emissive layers are omnivores and breed like rabbits so they aren't endangered.

They are light-emitting materials. So if you want to make mobile phone buttons that light up then you might want to use an emissive material to give that glowing look.

I believe we have posted a decent chunk of our tutorials if you go to Support -> Tutorials -> VRay for SU from our web-page toolbar above.
                      Best regards,

Re: Tutorials are coming...suggestions are welcome.

                        Joe,

I can only see some text (no images) in the tutorials.
Is this because i am using firefox?
Also, the PDF links don't work.

I think the tutorials really can make a difference to sketchup users to make the step to vray.

                        regards

Yep - I'm having the same issue. I'll get my web monkey on it.
