what is the best hardware to use for vray? some of my renderings are taking days

I would say that if you are having renders take for days there is probably some things in the settings that may be causing that. Or possibly issues with the geometry. Naturally the more CPU and RAM you have the better, but unless you are rendering on a very old machine I don't think you should be waiting that long. Perhaps you could share the scene with me so I can look over it? We would not disclose it without permission.Originally posted by cstaggs
As far as recommended hardware - my current desktop is ~3 GHz w/ 2 GB RAM and that is sufficient.Best regards,
