Can saved light maps be used in distributed renderings?
Re: Can saved light maps be used in distributed renderings?
Yes. It works like textures. They must be either in one location that both host and slave computers can access (network drive mapped to the same letter), saved locally on each machine, or the asset collection feature must be used (although I haven't explicitly tested it with saved light maps)
The saved light maps can be used for an animation, but I think there was an issue with doing an animation with DR (the slaves would help with the first frame, but drop out for the rest of them)
