section renderings

is there a way to render the section view implemented with the section cut plane? it will be in section view in the viewport but the rendering will disregard this and show the whole model...thanks!

Currently section renders are not supported. The issue stems from the geometry being unchanged by the section, only the visualization of the model in the viewport. So when we grab the scene data all of the geometry is still there. I believe Joe has been looking into ways that we can retrieve that section information so that we can support section renders.
