  • Vray Lighting Question, Please Help !!

I just downloaded free trial version of Vray for sketchup, and i tried to learn the vray system by going through the vray tutorial, however i could not follow the tutorial because the rectangle light does not work. when i render with the rectangle light without extreme setting change in the option, the rectangle light comes out as a black plane object. when i try to manipulate the sun light, it does not work too, the orientation of the shadow stays same; when i changed the multiplier value of the sun or GI, the brightness of the sun was still the same. it is really frustrating to learn at this point, is this because it is the 30day trial version ? please respond to my question, thanks

Its the physical camera which is lowering the exposure and causing all that light not to show up. Go the Options>Camera and disable the physical camera. If you don't have the sun enabled then you should be fine. If you want more info then search the forum for physical camera and a bunch of stuff will come up.

Thank you for the answer, i changed the rectangle light's multiplier from 30 to 120, and it began to shine,,
