how to apply material to complex moddels..?

when I try to a apply a material to a complex component like a the seting of a chair whit Vraylinktmaterial. My pc craches becous it is to complex. Is there somthing I can do about this.

I use Vraylinktmaterial becouse that is the only way I can scale a material propperly.

You might try minimizing the levels of components. After about 1 to 2 levels it gets really tough for things to get sorted out.

Dalomar means a component that contains other sub components which contain their own sub-sub components and so on...
Often this is referred to as 'nested geometry'.
