Diffuse bitmap not showing in preview

If I add a bitmap texture in deffuse color, it shows in the texture editor preview, but not in the material preview ?

What am I doing wrong ?

This is a quirk of how we deal with Sketchup textures. Since not all Sketchup textures exist on a disk somewhere ( they might just be embedded in the skp scene ) we save out all textures to a temp directory when you render. If you haven't rendered yet then they aren't there. We are fixing that in our SR
