How to export images from an existing SU material:
          1. Grab your material in the SU editor and add it to your model (you must add it to your model or else you won't be able to edit it)
          2. Go to the material that you just added and switch to the Edit tab
          3. Next go to the place that has the texture name there is a little icon that looks like a book with a vertical arrow on it.
          4. Click on the book arrow icon an it will bring up a file directory box and from there you can save to anywhere as any supported type you want

Sorry about that one...I went a step too far.

So after you've added the material to your model go to the in model tab and right click on you're material and you should see an option to export the texture.

              Here's a screen shot:

                Oke it works, thanks.

I have one question. When I scale a linkt material (in sketchup) and I apply a bump or displacemt to the material, will it take te correct scale of my linkt material.???

                  Re: Linkt materials bump/displacement ?

Yes it should...All the textures will reference the UVs of the object, and if you're making adjustments via the SU mapping tools thats the only way to do it.
