  • importing VISMAT files into SU

    I have downloaded several VISMAT files from ASGVIS but how do I import/set them up in SU?

    1. import it to mat.editor's container(right click)
    2. Re-check image's paths of bump's. displ. and other maps if it used(and put current paths)
    3. In su(6): right click on face that has any material and choose select->select as same mat. 3.1. then you right-clicked again at selected face and choose vray for sketchup-> apply material->choose your imported mat...maybe something else or that's all

      I dont understand.

      The files are Microsoft Access Table files. How do I import them into the editor?

      JPEGS etc are no problem

        Our material files .vismat are the only material files that V-Ray for SU can read. You have to import them through our material editor. You can do this by right clicking on Scene Materials and there should be the option to import the material.
