  • which .visopt file is loaded?

I apologize if this has been answered in another post but haven't found it yet.
Is there a way to know which vray options file (.visopt) is loaded in the file when you open it? Is it displayed anywhere? i have saved many variations of .visopt files and continually lose track of the one i am working with so i am afraid to save over old ones.
    thanks

Good suggestion. I too would like to see which visopt is loaded.
Can this be moved to the wishlist?

...which visopt?...once you load it up and change something then I'm not too sure how we could track it. Unless you think some sort of dialog saying when/what the last visopt was loaded?? (ie C:\...\IR_Test.visopt Last Loaded on 12\31\01)

Yes you are correct about once you make a change it is no longer the same but it would be good to know which file is loaded to begin with when you open the sketchup file. Don't all computer files work this way? Maybe the file name could be indicated somewhere in the options window

Ohh...okay so have the file path in the menu bar. I think we could do that. Maybe we would add "(modified)" to the file name when you change something.

i totally agree about showing what visopt you are using. many times i load a visopt or several visopt at a time to find the right lighting and i forget which one i am using. it would be a great idea to know which one we are using instead of guessing . it gets really crazy sometimes and not to mention wasting time figuring out which you are using. i hope it will display which vispot so we can see what we are using, dont you think guys?
