lights

Im having hardtime putting the lights.. I did the set up according to the manual but when I render it..lights are not showing up..In global switches I unchecked the hidden lights still lights are not showing up..

Tha background, I did changed the color but when I render it, still blue sky are the default..

I appreaciate any help..
