  • Rectangular Light!!! help!!!!

I am producing a doctors consulting room in vray!! for the interior lighting i used the omni light and had good results!! but when i try to use rectangular light when i render it, the light comes out black!!!!!!

its a 600x600 square light fitting?? i copied the fitting with the rectangluar light with intensity of 30 into a blank sketchup drawing with exactly the same render setting and the light rendered perfectly instead of black and no light!!!!

could somebody tell me why it mite b coming out black??????

Also which is the best light option to use omni or rectangluar?? i have got 4 600x600 light fitting to light my consulting room up!!!

    thank you!!!

    Re: Rectangular Light!!! help!!!!

The issue is the physical camera. Your light is black because it is not intense enough for the exposure levels of the camera. Increase the light significantly and it will show up in your render. Or you can just disable the physical camera.

    IMHO rectangular lights are better
