Recommended PC requirements???

Could somebody what the recommended PC requirements are to run vray for sketchup efficiently???

I currently have a low powered laptop with 1.8 prosessor & 1gb ram, which is proving to be quite slow.

Get as much processor power and RAM as you can afford. As far as processors go that will mean a dual core or quad core depending on whether you want to go with a desktop or laptop and 2gb is a good starting point. V-Ray will run on a lot less, but it will eat whatever you throw at it.
