Making Swarovski lights

How would you recommend to make such effect on the glossy ceiling?

I suppose building crystal isn`t the smartest way...

I would suppose one of the following options

1. Very careful modeling and lighting. Material wise there isn't too much crazy going on there, but it will take a lot of tweeking.

2. Photoshop work

Take your pick, but out of the box thats going to be a harder affect to recreate.

enabling caustics would bring out this effect.. wouldnt it??? i ve seen some renders in the VfR forums.. amaazing i must say!!!
