  • Rectangular lights again..

    I tried to setup a rectangular over a tutorial from the site CHAIRS-GI..
    The rectangular light did'nt work..it came out like a model and it created a shadow too..

    I followed the step 3x and still doing the same thing.
    Pls help..

    There's an option in the light properties called Invisible. That will take care of the causing the shadow.

    As to the light itself not showing up, its probably because you have the physical camera enabled. You can either disable it, or increase the intensity of the light significantly.

      hello..

      i'm a new user as well... i have the same prob with the rectangle lighting in vray for sketchup6...
      when i put the light above my objects, the rendered image shows the rectangular shape shadow of my rectangular lighting... it seems like there's another source of lighting effect thats causes my rectangular lighting box casts a shadow...
      how to overcome this?... i cant seem to find the light properties...

        make it invisible... edit light and there is box there invisible...just tick it.
