Re: Alpha Chanel
Directly, stopping a V-ray rendering is not possible. Indirectly, there's a work around. After you stop a rendering, save the image and also save any light information that you have with the file (LC maps, IR maps). When you go back to re-render the image, tell LC or IR to use the saved files instead of recalculating (this can be done through the Modes and setting them to From File). Lastly, in the System Rollout, under the Region division should be an option called Reverse Order. That will keep the same bucket pattern, but go essentially from the "end" of the rendering back to the "start". Once it gets to the area that it has already rendered, then just cancel. From there it becomes a matter of combining the first and second renderings in ps, which shouldn't be that hard. I know this is kind of a long work around, but if you've spend 4 hours calculating an image and need to stop it, its probably worth it.Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude
