render
When i turn it to transparent it won't work; but i got it working with the transparency in sketchup off. I don't know what's wrong with it. But at least you provide me with a clue to get it working. Thanks!!
I did recently a project with the same fence.
Just did a Vray material (no linked) with a PNG as a texture , tweaked the scale a bit and rack'n roll
No problemo..

What kind of texture you used and how do you tweaked the scale? I'm doing this way too.
I used the PNG texture from Sketchup library (Diamond meshe)
You can tweak the scale with the Vray settings (scale/rotate/..) inside the material panel.
