  • problem with vismat materials.

    hey guys i have a problem with the materials. in the previw square they look good but when i render the scene, the scale becomes tiny. this hapend with all my materials. so i download some from this forum and the problem is the same if someone could help me i would apreciated. thanks

    It has to do with surface UVs, which will determine the size/placement. Unfortunately SU will only create them if a map is applied through a SU material. So you're best bet for getting more control is too "convert" all those materials into SU materials and make linked materials from them.

          In SR1 all materials are automatically linked with SU materials. When you import a material in V-Ray you should find the same material in your SU material box. Use the paintbucket to apply the material and map the texture correct in SU.
          Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

            hi, everytime I rescale vismat with paint bucket SketchUp crashes the moment I open material editor. ..bye devran

              When i import the material in VrFs it imports the material into sketchup as a grey material, thus I am not able to resize it (for example a wood) so the pattern is tiny. Any ideas?
