light emitting materials issues :(

Okay... super noob here. Followed the tutorial to the t and tried to make the headlights of a motorcycle (standard sketchup component) to glow blue just like the car in the tutorial.... all I get when rendering is BLACK where ever i assign the new emitting material...

Please help.

Hey,
When I use emiting mat. I kick the intensity up to 50,000 sometimes more...
Otherwise switch off the physical camera and meet your master in the parametrical univers
