hi guys my name is andreia am a portuguese girl... and i not understand nothing the vray... but i need make 1 work... if you can help ....

when a choose a material in vray editor and click aplly to object... i dont see object whith material i chosen... continuous white.... someone can tell me whay? or if is possible see the object whith material ( color...the material)...

help me pelase... and sorry my terrible english

It is best to apply materials directly in sketchup (and not in vray).
That deals with most situations. If you need to have shiny materials (chrome, glass, or reflections etc), only then apply vray materials, or create vray linked material and add layers. (You will not see any vray material until it is rendered)

You should see the colour on the model before renderering if it is a sketchup texture, and after rendering if it is a sketchup or vray texture.

Hi Andreia,
sorry for my englidh but I'm italian so....it's only possible if you have a vray linked material because the texture is based on texture by sketchup. If you have a vray material ,you see only at final render... ;D

open the window of material, right on scene material/add material/Vray linkedmaterial and select the SU material that you want change in vray material...

ohh this form i can see the material, but i whant use vismat.... and this form only can linked sketchup materials...... right??

but you want use the vismat download by internet? If you want use these it's impossible that you seen the material in the preview...the format of vraylinked material is vismat...
