  • Architechture Photo References

I've been looking for a good resource for photos to use in architectural visualisations. Not textures, but photos for post compositions in Photoshop.

Most photos looks downwards at the item. But I'm looking for photos where the point of view is higher, matching that when you look at a building. It's in particular tree, bushes flowerbeds and general greenery.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Sounds like a good excuse to get out of the studio for a bit! Whenever I need some entourage from the human-level perspective, I just grab the old digital cam and go find good "growies" to shoot and clip myself. Not only do I get a nice break from the madness around the office and enjoy some fresh air, but also I avoid any of that pesky copyright infringement business by using others property in a derivative work.

...that is unless you get explicit permission from the owner to use their images in your own. In that case, that copyright stuff is a moot point and you can save yourself the trouble of getting out from in front of your monitor! Personally, I'd rather hit the local nursery, botanical gardens, or nature preserve, take a few shots, and bill the field trip to the client...

Yea, I'm planning to do that. However, at the moment it's rain/show/slush/hail/storm in Norway and not much greenery left. Gotto wait until later out in the year to collect images. (I've been hinting for a new camera. ) I'd love to get out of the office though.
But as it is now I'm stuck with searching the web...
