  • View Vray Materials in Sketchup Window

Does anyone know if there's a way to see the VrayMtl on objects in the Sketchup workspace? I know that if you create a VrayLinkedMtl, Sketchup will show the material (as long as you have the Shaded with Textures) option on, but if you apply a mtl made solely in Vray, it doesn't show until you render. Is there a way around that?

Also, I'm having trouble scaling materials placed on a sphere object. If I apply an SU mtl and try to right click on the object, the texture positioning option does not appear. Crazy!! :

Sounds like you try to apply the material on a group or component. To adjust texture position you have to apply it to the actual mesh.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
