I changed from a mouse to a pen tablet (wacom Intuos 3) because of RSI, and find it so much easier - especially for ps work.

really? i've never used one with sketchup or ever use one at all. but i just can't see it being better for sketchup. i can however see it being more useful for ps.

you must try to use the new 3d connexion for sketchup...

I use both. Not either or.
Though I don't use the tablet for SU work. Only Photoshop.
