Anyone using the update RC version ?

I was just wondering if you guys use it and if it is better than the original.
Is it buggy?

so buggy that its isnt worth of installing really - problem with linking material SU-->V-ray material , problems with setting camera - no parallel rendering

but as i know in 1.00 are problem with sun and shadows - they can reset to def

I installed it and uninstalled it 10 minutes later- it screwed up the UV mapping scales on all my SU models (even ones that hadn't previously had any Vray work done on them). Fortunately it's just a temporary thing associated with the installed RC plugin- after uninstalling it and reinstalling 1.00 the UV maps were back to normal. No point installing it IMO.

Hey guys, I want to thank Vray for update version. Today I saw progress, especially material linking!!! No problems while I rendered 10 scenes today. No black faces. Material contol become more effective.

you wrote it about rc1 ? wait some time you will see resting material to defaults and problems

I am trying it ...
First thing I noticed is that the Vray matlist contains all the SU materials automatically.
This is great!
However....
I haven't been able to get a single rendering out
Every time I hit 'render' the software stalls.
Anyone else experiences this?

For some reason the RC version makes my SU unresponsive when hitting render

...uninstalled it.

It's still a Release Candidate. Meaning it's not complete. So bugs are still to be expected.

Good point.

I'll just wait til the 'real update' is released to check Vray out again. Curious to see how (and if) the workflow will improve.

Guys I've noticed that when I open SU file directly whithout openning Sketchup Program all settings I've done before dissapears,and I saw problems with materials. But when I open it from opened program all settings are as they were done by me before.So no problem.

May be you all knew that.I don't know.
