Currently we don't have the demo for SketchUp 5 available on the site. We've had a couple people ask about V-Ray for SketchUp 5, wondering if there are any planned updates, where the demo is, etc. I'm curious though, why are people still using SketchUp 5? Is there some sort of benefit to the older version? As far as we're aware, the upgrade to SketchUp 6 should be free, which is why we have stopped development for SketchUp 5. I've been meaning to ask everyone for a while, is there a reason to stick with SketchUp 5 instead of upgrading to 6?

Here is not a free upgrade for us who use simplified chinese sketchup 5 version in China. We have been told that we must pay for the upgrade to SketchUp 6 G version.

Why ? I was hope that for 5 , v-ray will works with no bugs ;] , i get sketchup 5 but i dont know why , i dont like work in it , i prefer 6 , i isnt much diferences but i like 6.

Tell dkendig , are there any plans to repair that bugs in 1.00v v-ray for sketchup6 ? If i buy now this version i will have free upgrade or need to buy again it ?
