Solution for Components Not Rendering??

I have had problems with components not rendering in V-ray unless they are exploded. Is there a better solution than this?

It is usually only nested components/groups which don't render. So you may need to explode, sub-components only.

I've only experienced that groups give trouble. If I convert the groups to components it works fine.
