hi, i am new in using vray for SU and i would like to know how to create spotlights for an exterior (and interior) scene..... i have a white model and i need to place spotlights (in the sky) that will give coloured light on my model....using a red coloured omni and rectangular light gives no result at all in my render...what should i be doing to get results (i only see GI in my render...even when my added lights are not coloured at all)
    thanks in advance!

    Re: spotlights

We do not have spot lights in VfS at the moment, only rectangle lights and the omni light.

Though I don't know how your scene is setup I would guess that the reason you are not seeing the contribution of the omni/rect light is due to the multiplier of the light. The lights falloff over distance, so if they are far enough away they will not be visible.

Also - if you have the physical sky set as the environment or background it may drown out the light of those smaller lights. So you may wish to turn the sky off for this particular scene.
