  • Lighting Issue

I just purchased the program, but my omni lights aren't rendering. I loaded the IRmap_medium in the options, I'm not using a physical camera, and I tried changing the light intensity, and they still don't show up. I don't know if it's a program error, or if I'm doing something wrong.

    Please help.

    What a coincidence!

Try - Turn off Global Illumination, turn down the backround 'multiplier' to 0.001 (if you have one) just illuminate with say with your vray lights.

    Example? http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...20116#msg20116

      Re: Lighting Issue

Its hard to say without seeing your scene but I do remember that our lights did not work properly when nested in other components in our official release. They should work better in the latest release candidate we put it. That fixed a lot of the older issues.

For quicker responses you should report this kind of issue to the support section of our web-site

I tried doing that David, but it still doesn't work...it just renders black.

In Global Switches there should be one for Lights. You might have accidentally unchecked it.
