  • Nice Visops

    Hi guys!!
It is possible that some one can tell me how to get this render quality???(the one shown in the attached files, those are not mine, i took them from somewhere).

I can not avoid noise in my renders nor can I achieve that show the colors as they should

Someone who has visops that can reach this quality or anything closer to that quality??? or some one who is able to tell me what i need to modify from the default visop??

I've read the manual( really good by the way) but sometimes it's confusing in the part of the light calculation , light rebounds, the QM and the irradiance map stuff.

What i need is to get clear renders

Any help will be appreciated..sorry if i'm asking too much

          Re: Nice Visops

I have the same question about the blurry effect... the images seem to have some kind of "fog" applied on it (I'm talking in general) but can't get the same result. Try with the anti-ailiasing stuff but it's not the same.

Another idea that I try was the "Desenfoque Gausiano" in spanish (gaussian something I guess) in PS but nothing...

          Any other ideas???

              Re: Nice Visops

Hi man! First of all, sorry for my English, hope that I'll be coherent enough.
The noise it's QMC for shore! Is the most expensive, the most precise( for detail) but still not the first option for most of people. If you want clear renders, use the IM and LC. Mado visopt it's your best buddy! You can play around with the settings, but later on, when you catch all the aspects of that visopt
For now, just change the exposure of physical camera, and only if you need more brightness, or less. You should say what are the settings that you use!It was more easy.I'm a newbie, by the way, so I try hard too, to achieve what you want, but it's not very handy ..About the colors...the intensity of the light could change that, the color mapping settings, and so on. You should experiment with lots of situations, for example, check the"clamp output" and sub-pixel, gamma correction etc...Hope you don't become more confused after that.
The best way is to make a simple scene( like in the manual) and play with that little things above, and see what's happened with your colors.
Hope that I said something interesting or helpful, and in the end, you have to know that you never find the perfect settings, or somebody to teach you step by step magic tricks...let's say it's like learning to handle the PC..everybody knows how to do it, but you have to do it yourself
Just don't be sad, things will be better...maybe not today, but tomorrow for shore!
PS : Don't be afraid to post!! Allot of people will help!
              Regards,
              Stefan

                Hey guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well , you're right , we need to experiment by our selfs to see what produces the best results to everyone of us but is never bad idea to ask some help from the programers or from the ones who knows best this AMAZING program,That's when i say "where are you" V-ray masters??!!
I think that with the images is possible to have an idea of we want to achieve and by the experience of this vray veterans is for sure they can give an advice or any approximate idea of wich settings we may use to get those results, what you think?? it makes sense to me

By the way, thanx for the tips stefanq

                        Re: Nice Visops

Try palying on Damiens IR visopts. the rendering is quick and they are good. start with them. they can be downloaded in the download section.

another recommendation perhaps is using MADO's settings. search MAdo's thread, he has only few of them yet the quality of his works are great.
