Render output size A1

Hi

I'm trying to render an image large enough to fill an A1 sheet without losing quality. I don't seem to be able to change the output to larger than the default settings and I am usually capped at 1600x1199.

This output may be good enough i'm not sure, if anyone knows some good settings to get a High Q image at A1 it would make me very happy!

I would export the image as a VrayRAW. becoulse than you can render at HIres sutch as 4000x3000. you can download the RAW to EXR converter at this site and than open and eddit the EXR with photoshop. (It will be 32bit image at default becouls it an EXR)

If you have the educational version, then its output size will be limited to 1600x1200. If you have the commercial version, then you should be able to render at whatever resolution that you would like. Once you start getting into those higher resolutions, DW's suggestion of rendering to a vrimage will be a necessity

thanks for the suggestions, i do have the educational version, so exr is unnescessary

its a pain that the output is capped, this means i won't be able to present my coursework as i had intended,

it wasn't mentioned on the product description either, is anything else missing?

That is the only thing...there are no other limitations to the educational version. Limiting the resolution is not something that we like doing, but we've been burned by this in the past (companies trying to pose as educational users). IMHO limiting the resolution is a better alternative to limiting other features of vfsu.
