Hello to everyone,
First post in the Forum.
I installed the new version (RC2) and test rendered an existing sketchup model. Vray settings are exact default except set it for distributed rendering with 4 slave machines....
(Small bathroom model, typical skechup top view, no ceiling, four side walls of 150 mm and a few interior components, shower, sinks, toilet etc.)
Rendered the model and it rendered alright with all four machines...
BUT
with straight edges not aligned at different areas.. like wall edges should have been in the straight line.. are not in straight edge/line...kind of zig zag...it's all over model in different areas.. after few more trials I gathered that zig-zag areas are from the packets of slave machines. Tried again with just one slave, same result, packet from slave rendered again zig-zag edge/lines.
Rendered the same model on a single machine then it rendered fine with straight Wall lines, the way it should have been.
Did not face this problem with VfSu version 1 and RC1.. maybe something new in this version I need to find out....
Would appreciate any response... Would have liked to post images but do not know how to.
Apart from this it seems that many problems of RC1 are resolved and this release feels more stable.. from trials of couple of days.
Thanks a lot to the forum, I have learned a lot from many people.
Nicky Banks.
