  • I don't see textures

    Hi!
I'm trying to render my first object using V-Ray and SketchUp and have a problem with that. I've downloaded for example that material (grass) and I'm trying to render just ordinary sphere covered with this material. But the only thing I get is just green, glassy sphere with no texture on it. And the same problem is with any other texturized material (imported or created by me). I used diffrent 'configs': default, gi_irmap_very_high.visopt, gi_qmc_lc_very_high.visopt and other found in tutorials but it doesn't solve the problem. Can You help me?
    Regards,
    vacu

PS. I'm new here so hi everyone

    Re: I don't see textures

What your running into is mixed up texture coordinates on the surface. Basically, the image repeats so many times across the surface that it just looks like one color as opposed to the map itself. You'll want to adjust the size of the texture on the object in order to make it look more like the map.
