Lights still render?

I had some light set up in a scene, and I wanted to temporarily disable them so I unchecked the Lights and Hidden Lights in the Lighting section of Global Switches. But the lights still render.
Default Lights and Shadows are still checked. Default Lights is the SU Sun, right?

This is with the original SU release.

I would suggest to make all those lights as an individual layer, and just to turn it off whenever you wish to.

I'm getting some fairly odd results here. I'll try to take a closer look at this sometime this week.
