rendering stops processing for no reason... sometimes.

has anyone else had this problem and know why it is happening?
i run a rendering(or animation) and it looks like vray is processing for 5 seconds or so and then it just stops. the vray render process window doesn't even have a chance to pop up yet. I usually have to save, exit sketchup and then restart in order for it to work. it only works for a couple renderings before it starts happening again.
any ideas?

What V-Ray version are you using?

This regularly happens to me. Now using .74, happened with .73 as well.
Running on XP SP3, French version. Latest Sketchup Pro, French version too.

It just reports it's calculating in the sketchup status bar for a few seconds (like 3), then breaks of without warning. Same remedy (save, restart SU, reload, render). Quite Annoying.

i'm using vray 01.00.73 sketchup 6.4.112
it continues to happen
