Does anyone know why I receive a coloured shadow with bitmaps?

Not sure why your seeing that, but my initial guess is that the alpha map that your using is not completely grayscale. V-Ray can apply transparency for the Red Green and Blue channels independently, so if you don't use a grayscale image, some colors of light will be let through where others won't..Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude -

Have you tried with with a black and white opacity map?Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.Comment
